So, we took a bus ride
this morning to Cambridge. It was pretty. But, I’ve decided that I like
Oxford better. Oxford was bigger, more authentic, and less touristy. Cambridge
felt like a tourist attraction rather than a university. Unfortunately, most of
the colleges were closed because it’s finals week. A detail that we didn’t know
prior to arriving in Cambridge. So, instead of visiting the various colleges,
we just wandered around outside. We ended up at a mall (which only added to the
touristy feel) and got a light lunch. I had a wonderful smoothie. One of the
best smoothies I’ve ever had. Anyway, after that we headed out by the river and
walked along it for a bit.
